Information Architect
As an Information Architect, you will determine the best user experience for a variety of products, ranging from front-end to Web apps. (Full-Time and Freelance-Perm)Core Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements – through analysis of users, content, design, competitors, business needs, and available technologies
- Develop user task maps, competitor analysis briefs, site/software critiques, use cases, use case and entity-relationship diagrams, architecture briefs, site maps, page schematics, click-throughs, process flows, object models, sequence diagrams, and activity diagrams
- Work collaboratively with designers, technologists, and clients to fine-tune proposed interfaces
- 3-5 years experience developing Web sites and Web apps, with 3+ years experience as an Information Architect, User Interface Designer, or Usability Specialist
- Complete comprehension of the capabilities and limitations of Flash, Ajax, CSS
- Knowledge of data-driven Web applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of User Interface prototyping tools and methodologies for browser and non-browser based environments
- Must be able to show examples of past work, including schematics and documentation
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to juggle and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
