Laura Michaels

Laura leads, inspires and challenges everyone to go beyond the status quo.

As Executive Creative Director, Laura Michaels provides the vision for Fusebox’s creative and user experience development. A pioneer in the interactive industry, she has more than a decade of experience leading teams in strategic marketing, design and technology.

At Fusebox, Laura has established a unique environment where creativity and problem solving are cultivated. She leads, inspires, and ultimately challenges every art director, copywriter, and strategist to imagine and create new ways to make our clients’ products and services relevant to customers.

Laura has led online brand development for well-known small, mid-size, and Global 1000 companies. Her inventive work has garnered industry

praise and has been recognized by receiving many awards including several coveted One Show Interactive “Pencil” awards, and a Clio.

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Laura holds a BFA in Graphic Design. Laura devotes much of her free time to promoting the arts. She works with several not-for-profit organizations, including more art, an organization dedicated to making art more accessible to the general public. She was recently appointed to the board of directors of Streb, a not-for-profit organization in Williamsburg also dedicated to making art – but in the form of movement. She is also an accomplished jewelry designer.

Laura lives in Chelsea with her husband, daughter, and a black pug named Licorice.
