Empressr

We at Fusebox asked ourselves if there was a new product that could benefit from the latest Web 2.0 technologies. And in an unusual turn of events, we became our own client. And the product innovator.

The big idea

As an agency who's always creating presentations, we have found Powerpoint to be quite limiting. Too little on rich media. Too big on file sizes. Too frustrating to email. So we set out to eliminate the need for software or a laptop by creating a whole new way to develop presentations online. That big idea is Empressr.

The first application of its kind

Empressr is the first Web application that allows you to create, manage and share rich-media presentations online – with a level of functionality that far surpasses any online, office-like tool. And it even features tools that embrace the activities of the new Web community, like sharing, mashups and collaboration.

The results? Armed with only a Web browser, Empressr is redefining the way people create content online – and innovating an industry. And the fact that Empressr was selected out of a pool of 700 applicants to be showcased at the Sept. 07 Tech Crunch Expo, means the experts agree.
