INF Daily

INF is the leading supplier of celebrity photos and stories to newspapers, magazines and other media outlets worldwide. In 2007, the company wanted to turn a business directed Web site into a consumer-facing destination. It also wanted to reduce the large costs associated with managing, organizing, and cataloguing the millions of photos it receives each day. When INF turned to Fusebox, we saw a business problem custom-made for the latest digital strategies.

Part blog, part new application
To take INF’s explosive celebrity photographs and stories to consumers, we developed a Web site based on the latest digital craze, blogging. Now people can check out and comment on the daily scoop that’s being dished about their favorite celebrities.

Fusebox also created a rich Web application that provides INF with an innovative, end-to-end digital asset management solution to run their business online – including robust work flow tools to aggregate disparate content, manage and organize their assets, publish content to multiple platforms, generate invoices and track back sales.

More photos with less cost
Now, INF is able to provide more of the celebrity photos that people want to see – reaffirming INF’s industry leadership position and driving more users than ever to its Web site. Additionally, creating new efficiencies in how photos are accepted and organized has allowed INF a more cost-effective way to give people what they want to see. Results that illustrate the power of the new Web 2.0 strategies when you know how to implement them.
